What changed in the demo

Monkey Strike Games has published V1.1 of its free Pizzapocalypse: A Slice of Hope demo. The developer’s update lists changes to the pizza homing throw and camera clipping, along with menu and character-clothing fixes.

The update also makes newspaper collectibles larger and adds crates to the water section of the demo level. Those are developer-reported changes; we have not independently tested the build.

The loading fix comes with a qualification

Players affected by a loading screen stuck at 90% should note the wording of the announcement: the developer hopes the issue is fixed and asks for further reports if it persists. It would be premature to describe that problem as conclusively resolved.

Reports can be made through the in-game pause-menu tool or the developer’s community channels. A useful report should identify what happened and which build was running.

Where to try it, and why the name may differ

The free demo can be downloaded from the official Steam listing. The full game remains upcoming; the demo update is not a full-game release announcement.

The studio’s preceding announcement explains the change from Pizzapocalypse 2 to Pizzapocalypse: A Slice of Hope. Some store interfaces still show the old name. The linked game entry identifies the same Steam app so readers can find the correct demo.
