A demo with a very specific enemy

Decaf Bagel Games has shared Pigeons Must Die with Indie Gem Dispatch, describing a humorous arena roguelite about reclaiming a subway station from pigeons. The developer says the demo is live, and a demo download is listed on the official Steam page.

The store pitch pairs automatic attacks with active movement through enemy swarms. Between waves, players spend Feathers on equipment and upgrades. The visual joke gives the game an immediate identity, while the movement-and-build loop is the part prospective players can investigate in the demo.

What to look for during a first run

For readers familiar with bullet-heaven games, the useful questions go beyond the theme. Can you read threats clearly, distinguish upgrades and understand why a run ended? Those are things a playable sample can help you judge for yourself.

The official description discusses weapons, support runes and encounters with boss pigeons. We have not tested how those systems interact, so this article does not make claims about build variety, difficulty balance or long-term replay value.

Demo availability is not a full release

The full game’s Steam listing currently says Coming soon. Its demo is a separate download, not an announcement that the finished game has launched. Check the official page for the latest availability and platform information.
